WHO ARE WE?

Portland Youth Dance (PYD) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to cultivate personal artistic growth for youth while striving for creative excellence in dance.

PYD supports three individual causes. We support a dance scholarship program, an educational outreach program, and the UpBeat Feet Dance Company. Open auditions for UpBeat Feet are held every September for teens between the age of 9 and 18. Members of this company are given superior dance instruction, numerous performance and traveling opportunities, and direct involvement with our community outreach program.
